Introduction

Hello to you all on this fine morning. Welcome to my new blog and allow me to introduce myself. I am a writer, mother, artist, and musician. I am a slightly eclectic Kemetic (Egyptian pantheon) pagan-polytheist and witch with a sprinkle of Buddhism thrown in. I am also an intuitive medium.

In this vein, I would like to write about the topics that are near and dear to me: Egypt, paganism, polytheism, witchery, mediumship, archaeology, anthropology, physics and all the things that tie them together.

You will see me using phrases you may not be familiar with. I will introduce them as we go on. Today, I will introduce one I use quite often: Em hotep. Em hotep is a Kemetic phrase which roughly translates into "in peace." It is often used as a salutation, similar to "aloha." It can mean hello or goodbye.

So as I sign off, I wish you a wonderful day.

Em hotep, so will it be,
Altea
