Hallmark Sotheby Supports Greyhound Friends Inc

Chap is our pet of the week.

was pleased to make a $300 donation to during the shelter’s annual open house. At that time they also had a chance to meet many of the dogs that they work so hard to place.

This week, Hallmark Sotheby's International Realty Broker Leslie Mann names Chap our greyhound of the week.

"Chap is a sweet two-year-old greyhound with expressive eyes and a shiny coat," Mann said.

Last weekend, Hallmark Sotheby's Agent Nikki Devaux was on hand to drop off the cash donation, along with a basket of doggie treats, and meet the many wonderful dogs available for adoption.

Kimberly, a gentle 11-year old female greyhound who’s good with children and Yogi, a six-year-old fawn greyhound who'll do great with adult children and other dogs are also seeking homes.

If you are interested in adopting any of these dogs it will cost you $250, but the love you'll get for the rest of your life is free. also sends you home with a leash, a collar, some food and a list of the vaccinations the dog has received.

Greyhound Friends Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving racetrack greyhounds. They rely on donations from community members to help care for and feed the many dogs they rescue. 

“Greyhound Friends has done such a wonderful job of finding loving homes for these graceful, gentle dogs,” said Hallmark Sotheby’s International Realty broker Erika Paul. “We’re so pleased do to our small part to support this terrific organization and their dedicated team of volunteers.”
