Is Your Wife Hot? Billboard Starts Discussion

Have you seen the Rodenhiser Plumbing billboard on Washington Street? Several Patch readers wanted to know who moderates content.

If you've driven into Holliston from Milford, you may have noticed the billboard on Washington Street near the  that asks, "Is your wife Hot?"

The billboard is an advertisement for  and goes on to suggest that readers and passerby’s "Better get her A/C fixed."

The billboard has been a conversation piece for people around town with several people commenting on the creativity of the advertisement.

The billboard actually led one reader to ask who regulates the billboards in town so Holliston Patch found out.

"Billboards are regulated by the Commonwealth and not the Town although we specifically prohibit new ones in the Zoning By-law,"  Karen Sherman said.

According to Massachusetts General Law Title XV Chapter 93 Section 29 , the Outdoor Advertising Board is responsible for all permits regarding the maintenance and construction of billboards.
