Wingate Healthcare Promotes Two Hopkinton Residents

Wingate Healthcare (www.wingatehealthcare.com), the Northeast’s premiere provider of healthcare and hospitality for seniors, today announced the promotion of two Hopkinton residents--Ed Blake to VP of Operations and Amy Sanders to VP of Sales & Marketing.

Blake previously served as Regional Director of Operations for Wingate’s Western Massachusetts and New York region. He has over 30 years of operations experience in all facets of healthcare, including senior living, skilled nursing and at the state level. Prior to joining Wingate in 2012, he held operations positions at Genesis HealthCare, Benchmark Senior Living, Amicus Home Healthcare, Sunrise Senior Living and served as Chief Operations Officer for Frontier Management where he oversaw 16 skilled nursing facilities. In his free time, he serves as the Board Secretary for the Massachusetts Assisted Living Federation of America (Mass-ALFA).

Sanders originally joined Wingate as their Senior Director of Sales & Marketing. She brings 20 years of sales and marketing experience to the company, drawing on management level positions in acute and long-term care, senior living and healthcare. Sanders new role includes responsibility for the company’s overall branding and awareness, and the sales and marketing operations for all 21 communities, including advertising, public relations, online marketing and social media. Before joining the company, she served as Regional Marketing Director for Healthbridge Management, overseeing all eight of their New England communities, including over 1,300 skilled nursing beds and an independent living facility.
