Goodwill Park Grand Opening Date Set

After months of construction, Holliston's Goodwill Park is set to have its grand opening on Saturday, June 16. 

Relying on volunteers to aid in building the park, the Holliston Parks Department enlisted residents willing to lend a helping hand in installing equipment and landscape the area. Volunteers worked through the fall to construct equipment for Goodwill Park, which is closed to residents as a construction area until next week. 

Donations from groups including Mission Possible and Schilling Shade added to the $150,000 in town grants to build the recreation area. 

The official event on June 16 comemorating the opening of the park will feature a ribbon cutting ceremoney, soccer challenge program and food and refreshments.
