What a waste! The last thing the town needs is a K-9. How about hiring some more cops who will do there job rather than a short sited program that will be deemed ineffective in five years.

Actually, that's untrue. It's been proven time and time again that K9 dogs save officer's lives, make motor vehicle stops safer, can de-escalate a situation by their mere presence, and can search a building or large area for drugs/criminals/explosives in 1/10th the time that a group of officers can, often tying up an entire shift. It's a smart, cost effective move for the town of Holliston.

Christina, I totally agree. It is certainly NOT a waste of $$. Just the sight of a K-9 dog decelerates a situation right away. A VERY smart effective move for Holliston.
