Touch-a-Truck Postponed to Sunday

The event will fund the Newcomer's Club annual grant awards.

Touch-a-Truck, an event hosted by the Holliston Newcomer's Club originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed to Sunday due to forecasted rain.

At the event, local companies will donate trucks and equipment of all sizes for children to come explore. This is an excellent event for the whole family.  You can climb aboard, honk the horn, and talk to the driver.

Touch-A-Truck kicks off at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 3 at the Sam Placentino Elementary School. The Placentino School is located at 235 Woodland Street (off of Route 16) in Holliston.

The event will be horn-free for the first hour and a half, ideal for younger children and children with special needs. A variety of family-friendly vendors will be on-site. Food, fun and trucks for all.

The cost of the event is $4 per person or the whole family may attend for a flat rate of $15 Free admission will be granted to children under the age of one. Profits from the event will fund the Newcomers annual grant awards.

Sponsorship is provided by Hooray for Books, The Little Gym of Medway, The Henry Studio, Holliston School for the Performing Arts, Hopkinton Pediatric Dental Associates and Pejamajo Café.
