The Ashland Documentary Film & Discussion Series will the present the film,
Prevent
& Reverse Heart Disease, a talk by Caldwell Esselstyn, MD, on Tuesday, January 28, 7-9 pm in the
Ashland Library, Community Room, 66 Front Street, Ashland, MA. Admission is
free. Viewers are invited to stay for discussion. The Documentary Film &
Discussion Series is sponsored by the Friends of the Ashland Library.
In this brief and
entertaining talk, Dr. Esselstyn recounts the medical experiences that led him
to scour medical literature in search of the cause of heart disease. His quest
led him to the conclusion that heart disease is caused by diet and can be
reversed and prevented by change in what we eat. He has treated hundreds of
patients and documented astonishing outcomes.
