Holliston Pantry Shelf Reports Many Successes and Needs

Here is an update from the Holliston Pantry Shelf, including a list of current needs.

The following update was provided by the Holliston Pantry Shelf

Haircuts for Holliston Pantry Shelf

The chairs were packed at Studio D as the stylists gave 55 customers haircuts within two hours. Many thanks also to Jill and her husband, Tom, along with building co-owners, Paul & Janet Guidi, for the use of the space between Studio D and Holliston Superette during the stroll and throughout the month of December. The extra space has been essential in preparations for the 130 Holiday Baskets to help Pantry families celebrate the holidays.

Pasta with Santa

Over 200 children and their parents celebrated the holidays with a free pasta dinner, generously donated by The Fairview at Pinecrest. Guests visited with Santa while having their pictures taken with members of the Holliston Lions Club.

Warm Winter Coat Drive

The Holliston Newcomers Club is still collecting new or gently used warm winter coats for the Holliston Pantry Shelf. The snow and freezing temperatures are here to stay for the winter and 31 coats are still needed to fill requests from Pantry families. For more information on filling needs and coat drop-off, visit the HNC website.
