Fundraising through walking is one of the great equalizers in that nearly everyone can participate — whether it is through participation, volunteering or donating — and a walk to raise funds to combat breast cancer is set to happen in Holliston on October 20.
Holliston's Walk Against Breast Cancer is set to take place beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the congregational church green at 725 Washington Street. To date, more than 450,000 has been raised by this walk that is entering its 11th year, according to the website.
