Obituary: Richard D’Alessandro

The Korean War veteran was a 50 year resident of Holliston.

Richard Paul D’Alessandro, 80, died January 9. Born in Framingham, he was a resident of Holliston for 50 years and served in the Korean War.

He was predeceased in 2006 by his wife of 48 years, Asunda “Susan” D’Alessandro; and is survived by 2 children, Richard Jr., of Florida, and Kathy Winstone of Texas, as well as 4 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 17 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 18 at 10:30 a.m. at with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
