On Tuesday Current School Committee Chairman Jean Bertschmann announced that she is running for She is the first candidate to announce a bid for one of the two open School Committee seats.

We featured a story about Hopkinton Painter Dustin Neece. . For the 30th time this year Dick Hoyt will be pushing his son 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boston. The duo has competed in over a thousand races but the Boston Marathon is where they started. The painting will be premiered the week before the marathon and prints will be available for sale on the day of the race.
