LETTER: Sean Bielat: The Clear Choice For the Middle Class

Find out why one area resident thinks you should vote for Sean Bielat

Submitted by Sean Slater

I watched Sean Bielat interact with people on the Franklin common during the 4th of July celebration. The feedback I heard from other residents that day was that this guy actually listens and doesn’t talk over you, doesn’t come across as somebody who wants to be a career politician, wants to limit government involvement in our lives and overall a genuinely nice guy. I was also reminded that nice guys with personal integrity don’t always survive elections in Massachusetts.

For those that don’t know Sean, it is worth noting that his priorities are consistent with those of the middle class and small business owners. Sean worked his way through school with the help of scholarships and the GI Bill. He is a U.S. Marine whose courage and leadership is something Congress desperately needs. Sean wants what most families want for their children and grandchildren, a future not clouded in debt and uncertainty.

You have a clear choice in November, one candidate that will work tirelessly to improve the quality of life for middle class families and protect the American values that are very sacred to so many in this state and in this country. The other candidate is Joe Kennedy. I only know three things about Mr. Kennedy: he has a popular name, is extremely wealthy and believes the government is smarter than all of us.

We have a great opportunity in November to ensure that our voice and not the government’s voice is heard loud and clear. Sean Bielat is that voice.
