After Search, Police Apprehend Hit-and-Run Driver

State police helicopoters and K-9 units aided Holliston PD in the search.

After a search of Holliston that lasted nearly four hours, Police apprehended a driver who fled the scene of a car crash on foot Wednesday night. 

 apprehended Nicholas Piwko, 19, from Mohegan Circle in Milford in an industrial park on Hopping Brook Road at 3:37 a.m. Thursday morning and transported him for medical care as a result of exposure to cold. 

Holliston police said they are not sure why Piwko decided to flee the scene of the crash.

Piwko has been summonsed to court for marked lanes violations, leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving and breaking and entering.
