Flashing Lights Seen Over Fruit Street; Man Searches for Lost Dog

Friday, July 19
2:20 a.m.: A caller from Lakeshore Drive reported that someone had knocked on her door at 9 p.m. and that she had just received a phone call with no one there. An officer responded and made sure the residence was secure.
4:02 p.m.: NStar was notified to remove a dead tree that had fallen onto the wires on Wood Street.

Saturday, July 20
7:16 a.m.: The Hopkinton Fire Department extinguished a mulch fire on South Street.

5:39 p.m.: An officer spoke to a resident of Ledgestone Drive whose mailbox and post had been removed from the ground. No other vandalism was noted in the area.
9:31 p.m.: A caller reported lights flashing over the Fruit Street fields. An officer suggested that it is likely lightening.
10:19 a.m.: A caller reported a vehicle on Appaloosa Circle shining a light in people’s yards. An officer responded and spoke to the person who was looking for his lost chocolate lab.
Sunday, July 21
5:30 p.m.: An officer checked a vehicle at Legacy Farms. The vehicle belonged a new homeowner on Woodview Way, a street off Legacy Farms South.
8:18 p.m.: A 911 caller from Pond Street reported a possible domestic argument in front of her house. An officer responded and spoke to the couple involved; they were just having an argument.
Monday, July 22
2:35 p.m.: A caller from Davis Road reported that a package containing medicine appeared to have been opened. All of the contents were accounted for.
4:42 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on West Main Street and arrested Michael Meehan, 46, of 24 Woody Island Rd. Meehan was charged with operating with a suspended license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating without an inspection sticker and a license plate violation.
5:48 p.m.: A person reported that realtor signs had been stolen from Duffield Road.
