Holliston Brush Fire, Washington Street Spill, and More

Here's a look at the recent fire log in Holliston.

The following information was provided by the Holliston Fire Department.

Friday, Nov. 1

6:34 am: Motor Vehicle Crash – The ambulance responded to a motor vehicle crash on Washington Street.  A Millville resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.  Three individuals also refused treatment, and signed waivers were obtained.

7:26 am: Investigation – Chief Michael Cassidy investigated a spill on Washington Street.

1:08 pm: Investigation – Chief Michael Cassidy investigated an alarm activation on Hanlon Road.

8:30 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Hollis Street.  A Scituate resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

Saturday, Nov. 2

6:46 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Summer Street.  A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.

11:57 am: Medical – Weekend Duty Officer Deputy Jim Moore and the ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Washington Street.  A resident was transported to Boston Children’s Hospital.

12:08 pm: Medical – The backup ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Washington Street.  A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.

1:21 pm: Investigation – Chief Michael Cassidy, Weekend Duty Officer Deputy Jim Moore and District Fire Warden Tom Muise investigated a rekindled brush fire in the Town Forest off Adams Street.  The fire was determined to be in Milford; the Milford Fire Department was notified.

2:10 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Highland Street.  A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.

4:25 pm: Motor Vehicle Crash – The ambulance responded to a motor vehicle crash on Underwood Street.  The ambulance response was cancelled by the police prior to their arrival.
