Holliston Fire Department Log: July 4, to July 10

Friday, July 4 

  • 9:15 am: Investigation – Weekend Duty Officers Captain Kenneth Fisher and Lieutenant Mark Heavner investigated an alarm activation on Forest Park Drive.
  • 11:30 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical on Whispering Lane. The individual refused transport and a signed waiver was obtained.
  • 3:58 pm: Investigation - Weekend Duty Officers Captain Kenneth Fisher and Lieutenant Mark Heavner investigated wires down on Norfolk Street.
  • 10:32 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a motor vehicle crash on Winter Street.  The operator denied injury and a signed waiver was obtained. 

Saturday, July 5

  • 4:50 am: Direct Alarm – The fire department responded to a direct alarm activation on Water Street.
  • 5:36 pm: Alarm Activation – Deputy Jim Moore, Weekend Duty Officers Captain Kenneth Fisher and Lieutenant Mark Heavner, Ladder 1, Engines 1 and 3 responded to an alarm activation on Exchange Street.

Sunday, July 6

  • 10:55 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Paul Road. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 10:56 am: Medical – An ambulance with paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical emergency on Rocky Woods Trail. The individual refused transport and a signed waiver was obtained. 
  • 12:16 pm: Motor Vehicle Crash – Deputy Jim Moore, Weekend Duty Officer Captain Kenneth Fisher  and the ambulance responded to a motor vehicle crash on Washington Street. A Medway resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. 
  • 1:08 pm: Tech Rescue Activation – Firefighter/EMT Rich Coughlin responded mutual aid to Milford for a District 14 Technical Rescue Team activation on Walden Way. 
  • 7:56 pm: Medical – The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical emergency on Bald Hill Road. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.

Monday, July 7

  • 6:30 am: Tech Rescue Activation – Firefighter/EMT Rich Coughlin responded mutual aid to Milford for a District 14 Technical Rescue Team activation on Walden Way. 
  • 7:33 am: Medical – The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical emergency on High Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
  • 10:27 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Jeffrey Avenue. A resident was transported to Boston Children’s Hospital.
  • 11:11 am: Medical – An ambulance with paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical emergency on Summer Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. 
  • 1:46 pm: Kitchen Fire – Chief Michael Cassidy, Deputy Jim Moore, Ladder 1, Engines 1 and 3 responded to a kitchen fire on Central Street. 
  • 2:16 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Elm Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. 

Tuesday, July 8

  • 7:06 am: Medical – An ambulance with EMTs from Medway Fire responded to a medical emergency on Summer Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 9:55 am: Medical – The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical emergency on Elm Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. 
  • 10:25 am: Investigation – Deputy Jim Moore investigated an alarm activation on Washington Street.
  • 3:33 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Travis Road. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
  • 4:40 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Paul Road. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 6:39 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Elm Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. 

Wednesday, July 9 

  • 5:56 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on South Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. 
  • 11:23 am: Motor Vehicle Crash – Chief Michael Cassidy, Deputy Jim Moore, Engine 4, the primary ambulance, both backup ambulances, and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a three car motor vehicle crash on Washington Street. One driver was transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.  One driver was transported to a landing zone on South Street, for transport to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston by Boston MedFlight.  Two other individuals were transported by ambulance to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 8:25 pm: Water Rescue – Chief Michael Cassidy, Deputy Jim Moore, Rescue 1, the Water Rescue and the ambulance responded to the Cabot Road boat ramp to assist the Police Department removing two people from Lake Winthrop. 

Thursday, July 10 

  • 10:45 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Partridge Way. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
