Holliston Fire Log: April 11-17

Friday, April 11

  • 11:35 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Washington Street. The individual refused transport and a signed waiver was obtained. 
  • 4:02 pm: Investigation – Deputy Jim Moore investigated smoke in the area of Bogastow Brook Road.
  • 4:35 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Johnson Drive. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. 
  • 4:44 pm: Medical – An ambulance with paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical emergency on Shaw Farm Road. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
  • 9:22 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Marked Tree Road. A resident was transported to a landing zone at the High School which was secured by Chief Michael Cassidy, Weekend Duty Officers Captain John Murphy and Lieutenant Sean Irr, and Engine 3.  The patient was transferred to the care of the crew of Boston MedFlight for transport to Boston Medical Center. 

Saturday, April 12

  • 5:02 pm: Investigation – Weekend Duty Officers Captain John Murphy and Lieutenant Sean Irr investigated an outside fire on Robin Hill Road.  The resident was advised of the open burning regulations. 

Sunday, April 13

  • 6:22 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded mutual aid to Lake Street in Hudson as part of a Fire District 14 Ambulance Strike Team activation.

Monday, April 14 

  • 9:32 am: Medical – Engine 3 responded mutual aid to Sherborn for station coverage, while crews from Sherborn, Dover and Framingham extinguished a structure fire on Brush Hill Road. 
  • 8:14 pm: Alarm Activation – Deputy Jim Moore, Ladder 1, Engine 2 and Engine 4 responded to an alarm activation on Hopping Brook Road.

Tuesday, April 15

  • 5:26 am: Medical – The ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded to a medical emergency on Donna Road. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
  • 6:02 am: Medical – The backup ambulance and paramedics from Community Ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Franklin Street. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center. 
  • 7:12 am: Investigation – Chief Michael Cassidy investigated an alarm activation on Roy Avenue.
  • 7:45 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Wilkins Road. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Natick.

Wednesday, April 16

  • 11:04 am: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on October Hill Road. A resident was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 3:19 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Elm Street. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. 

Thursday, April 17

  • 11:09 am: Investigation – Deputy Jim Moore investigated alarm trouble on Washington Street. 
  • 2:10 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a motor vehicle crash on Central Street. Two individual were transported to Milford Regional Medical Center.
  • 3:55 pm: Investigation – Deputy Jim Moore investigated an alarm activation on Turner Road.
  • 6:55 pm: Medical – The ambulance responded to a medical emergency on Jarr Brook Road. A resident was transported to MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham.
