A motor vehicle stop by the Sudbury Police Department on Oct. 19 resulted in the arrest of a Holliston resident.

According to Lt. Robert Grady, an officer on patrol on Boston Post Road pulled over a motorist just before 5 p.m., after a plate check revealed the operator had a suspended license.

After the officer completed an investigation, Zeph Herman Pitt, 38, of 607 Marshall St., was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

During a check of Pitt's car, the officer found a dagger and added a charge of carrying a dangerous weapon.

Pitt was scheduled to be arraigned at Framingham District Court on Oct. 21.
