LifeFlight Called for Holliston Man Who Fell

The 82-year-old man had fallen outside around 6 a.m. this morning.

The following press release was provided by the Holliston Fire Department on Dec. 10, 2013.

This morning, the Holliston Fire Department ambulance and paramedics from Events EMS responded at 6:17 a.m. to a medical emergency on Summer Street, for an individual who had fallen outside. 

Based on the patient’s condition, the decision was made to request a medical helicopter to transport the patient to a trauma center. 

Chief Michael Cassidy and Engine 2 secured a landing zone on Summer Street for UMass Memorial LifeFlight. 

LifeFlight 1 landed at 6:59 a.m. and an 82-year-old male patient was transported by ground to Milford Regional Medical Center with both Events EMS and LifeFlight personnel on board.
