Holliston Police: Drunk Driver Crashes, Break-In Reported on Washington Street

The following information was provided by the Holliston Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Aug. 8

4:01 a.m.: An officer checked Goodwill Park for signs of vandalism. Nothing appeared out of line.

6:30 p.m.: Officers responded to a three-car crash on Washington Street. Two of the vehicles were towed.

Friday, Aug. 9

2:37 p.m.: A caller from Marked Tree Road reported unregistered solicitors. An officer spoke to the salesmen and had them stop for the day and return with permits.

6:00 p.m.: An officer performed traffic enforcement on South Street. Three vehicles were stopped and the drivers cited for speeding.

7:06 p.m.: A resident went in to the Holliston Police Department to report an assault. Police are seeking a summons to charge the other person involved with assault and battery.

9:16 p.m.: an officer stopped a vehicle on Washington Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge the driver with unlicensed operation.

Saturday, Aug. 10

10:57 a.m.: An officer spoke with the attendant at Stoddard Park to make sure everything was going to be OK for the day.

8:29 p.m.: A caller from Wilson Street reported fireworks.

9:11 p.m.: While checking on Goodwill Park an officer spoke to several people who were playing tennis.

Sunday, Aug. 11

12:10 a.m.: A 911 caller reported a car alarm going off on Washington Street. An officer responded and the vehicle owner shut off the alarm.

2:49 p.m.: The driver of a vehicle was hospitalized after he crashed on Washington Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge him with drunken-driving, speeding and marked lanes violation.

4:45 a.m.: Officers heard a disturbance in the parking lot of the Holliston Police Department. Police are seeking a summons to charge a driver with unlicensed operation.

11:25 a.m.: A motorcycle rider was injured after a crash.

5:13 p.m.: A caller from Washington Street reported a past break-in.

Monday, Aug. 12

1:36 a.m.: An officer observed a vehicle parked at the Marshall Street soccer fields. The vehicle belonged to people who were watching for meteors.
