Holliston Police Log: 17-Year-Old Arrested, Man Yells For Help

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Saturday, Dec. 29

10:54 a.m.: A caller reported gunshots near Jennings Drive. Officers could not locate the source of the noise.

11:54 a.m.: A resident went in to the Holliston Police Department to report a motor vehicle break-in.

2:15 a.m.: An alarm was sounding at the Holliston Highway Department.

3:46 p.m.: A male was transported to the hospital after a family dispute on Burnap Road.

5:23 p.m.: Three vehicles were involved in a crash at the intersection of Washington Street and Summer Street. No injuries were reported.

5:31 p.m.: An operator drove his vehicle off the road on Highland Street. A tow was called to pull the vehicle back on to the roadway.

8:09 p.m.: The Holliston Police Department shut down Summer Street so the Medway Fire Department could battle a blaze on the road just over the town line.

11:10 p.m.: A single vehicle crashed on Highland Street. No injuries were reported.

Sunday, Dec. 30

8:23 a.m.: An officer reported that a plow had struck a mailbox on Highland Street.

12:37 p.m.: A caller from Washington Street reported a past motor vehicle break-in.

5:38 p.m.: Officers stopped a vehicle on Central Street and are seeking a summons to charge the operator with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

7:30 p.m.: A motorist called after striking a rock in the roadway on Washington Street. No injuries were reported but the vehicle was leaking oil.

8:31 p.m.: A vehicle went off the road on Holly Lane. No property damage was observed.

Monday, Dec. 31

2:11 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported at the intersection of Washington Street and Highland Street. No injuries were reported.

4:10 p.m.: A resident reported that an item had been stolen out of his repossessed vehicle.

9:45 p.m.: A group of youths reported a male calling for help on Winthrop Street, the youths said they were unable to determine the location of the voice. A male resident had fallen down has basement stairs and transported by LifeFlight to UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

10:13 p.m.: Officers responded to a noise complaint about a party on Central Street.

11:43 p.m.: A vehicle was stopped on Hopping Brook Road. Officers are seeking a summons for the operator.

Tuesday, Jan. 1

1:35 a.m.: A caller reported kids screaming at the First Baptist Church. Officers responded and spoke to the parents of children who were participating in a ceremony.

2:18 p.m.: A caller reported a grey truck on the field at Holliston High School. An officer responded and was unable to locate the truck or any damage to the fields.
