Holliston Police Log: Casino Signs Switched, Assault Arrests, Chickens in Danger

The following information was provided by the Holliston Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, June 26

2:56 a.m.: A caller from a Holliston Housing Authority property on Washington Street reported an animal was attempting to get at the chickens next door.

5:29 a.m.: A disturbance was reported on David Street.

10:25 a.m.: Police responded to Holliston High School, for a report of damage to a Honda Pilot parked in the parking lot.

3:53 p.m.: A caller on Kim Place reported an animal was stuck in a storm drain. The animal control officer responded.

9:38 p.m.: A motorist on Norfolk Street reported a small black and white dog running in traffic. Police checked the area but could not locate the dog.

10:21 p.m.: A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at Placentino Elementary School on Woodland Street. A caller said a vehicle was occupied by teens. Police responded and found youths on the swing sets. They were sent on their way.

Thursday, June 27

9:51 a.m.: A caller said his son had spotted a man with what appeared to be a metal detector walking behind his home. When he went to look for him, he could not find him. Police responded and found the man was an NStar contractor doing work in the area.

5:53 p.m.: A caller on Sweet Grass Lane said two motorcycles were racing in the area.

6:28 p.m.: A man and a woman were reportedly arguing for thirty minutes at Goodwill Park on Green Street. Police arrived and mediated the situation.

6:54 p.m.: A disturbance was reported at CVS on Central Street. Police arrested Anna Micelotti, 17, of 34 Regency Dr., Holliston, on charges of assault and battery, disorderly conduct and a person under 21 possessing liquor. Police arrested Timothy R. Commerford, 18, of 18 Mechanic St., Holliston, on charges of assault and battery and disorderly conduct.

7:06 p.m.: A disturbance was reported on Norfolk Street. A person said an unwanted, intoxicated person was at the home. Police brought the woman back to the station for a ride elsewhere.

Friday, June 28

8:30 a.m.: A resident of Silver Lane reported that two of his unlocked vehicles were entered sometime Wednesday night into Friday morning. Change and Dunkin Donuts gift cards were taken.

2:09 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported at the Holliston Maintenance Department on Linden Street. Police received a report that youths were on the roof of the maintenance building. Police checked and they were spoken to.

3:44 p.m.: Police received a complaint about skateboarders on Turner Road. Police checked and spoke with them.

6:42 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street, police arrested Segundo A. Clavijo, 25, of 45 Exchange St., Apt. 3E, Milford, on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked as an habitual traffic offender, failure to wear a seatbelt, and truck failing to display owner's name.

Saturday, June 29

5:01 p.m.: Police received a report on Washington Street of a domestic dispute between brothers. One of them fled on foot. Medway and Milford police were notified. Police in Milford apprehended the suspect. Michael Lamorque, 23, of 2174 Washington St., Hollison, is charged with assault and battery.

5:29 p.m.: A caller reported an aggressive dog at the carnival. Police asked Sherborn Police to assist. The owner of the dog was located by police and said he would be leaving the area.

8:07 p.m.: A person walked in to police headquarters and reported malicious mischief on Washington Street. Someone had taken political signs against the Milford casino and replaced them with pro-casino signs.

11:22 p.m.: Several callers reported a two-car crash on Central at Norfolk streets. Police responded and arrested Robert Arcese, 17, of 37 Alden Road, Holliston, on charges of OUI liquor, failure to wear a seatbelt and failure to stop or yield. No one was injured in the crash, which involved an Audi and a Jeep Grand Laredo.
