Holliston Police: Employee Dispute at Jing's Garden, Unwanted Food Deliveries

The following information was provided by the Holliston Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Aug. 13

12:30 a.m.: A disturbance was reported on Fiske Street. A caller asked police to remove a man from the house. Police arrived and advised him to leave.

9:04 a.m.: Wires were reported down on Gorwin Drive, as a result of a tree falling.

11:38 a.m.: A dispute between two employees was reported at Jing’s Garden.

1:09 p.m.: A domestic was reported at a residence where a woman could be heard yelling. Police responded but found the situation had been resolved. No physical abuse was found, only a verbal dispute.

2:21 p.m.: A two-car crash was reported on Highland at Washington streets. One of the drivers experienced neck pain, but was not taken by ambulance.

2:45 p.m.: A vehicle was reported in the woods on Cutler Heights, at Hollis Street. Property damage resulted. The person was taken to Metro West Medical Center in Framingham.

6:28 p.m.: A caller said a car driver did not stop at the intersection stop sign on Gorwin Drive at Chamberlain Street, and almost hit him on his motorcycle.

Wednesday, Aug. 14

11:40 a.m.: A crash involving three vehicles was reported on Ashland at Concord streets. A passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to Metro West Medical Center in Framingham.

11:58 a.m.: A single car struck a pole on Winter Street. No one was injured.

3:31 p.m.: A car struck a tree on North Mill  Street.

10:27 p.m.: Police received a noise complaint on Prospect Street, of fireworks going off in the area. Police checked but could not locate the source of the noise. 

Thursday, Aug. 15

10:46 a.m.: A road hazard was reported on Washington Street, a large bag. An officer could not locate it.

11:11 a.m.: A woman reported she left her purse on the top of her car as she was leaving church, and it fell off. It had various contents, including her wallet. Police checked the area but found no purse. At 11:30 a.m., an NStar crew found the purse and turned it into police.

2:46 p.m.: Two men were reported to be intoxicated at Pinecrest Golf Club, while operating a cart. They left before police arrived.

3:44 p.m.: An employee at Mass Firearms School said someone had used a credit card fraudulently at the business.

Friday, Aug. 16

9:29 a.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Washington at Pearl streets, police are seeking a summons to charge Corey A. Watson, 22, of 120 Mill St., Hopedale, with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop for police. 

9:44 a.m.: A low-hanging wire at MacArthur Farm was preventing vehicles from passing. Comcast was notified and cut the line so people could get through.

12:55 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street, near Jings Garden, police were seeking a summons to charge Jeffrey E. Rodriguez, 31, of 6 Kennedy LN., Apt. 12, Milford, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, no inspection sticker and composing sending or reading e-messages while driving.

1:09 p.m.: A teenaged girl was causing a disturbance at Goodwill Park by yelling in the area of the pavilion. She was taken to the station.

5:09 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Norfolk Street, at Holliston Gas and Market, police were seeking a summons to charge Steven P. Valdivia Jr., 31, of 5 Austin St., Blackstone, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in violation of a special regulation.

6:38 p.m.: Police received a report of a woman trespassing on Locust Street. Police took her to the town line at Ashland. Police are seeking a summons to charge Sophie Cramer, 18, of 37 Dennison Ave., Apt. 1, Framingham, with trespass.

10:54 p.m.: A caller on Norland Street reported they had received three orders of unwanted food.

11:10 p.m.: A call reported a disturbance in the area of Sweet Grass Lane, possibly a fight. Police filed a report.
