Holliston Police Log: Natick Man Arrested After Crashing on Concord Street

The following information was supplied by the Holliston police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, July 20

12:06 a.m.: A caller from North Mill Street informed the of two men fighting in the area. Officers advised the two men and they dispersed for the evening

6:00 a.m.: Officers provided extra patrol coverage of Washington Street and Central Street for a bicycle race.

4:30 p.m.: Officers responded to a three-car crash at the intersection of Washington and Summer streets. No injuries were reported.

4:50 p.m.: A caller from Country Road reported that she could here gunshots in her neighborhood. An officer responded and spoke to an employee at Highland Hill Farm who confirmed that they were shooting in the area.

5:45 p.m.: A caller said she was involved in a minor crash on Washington Street. The caller said the other vehicle involved left the scene.

8:24 p.m.: A caller said a sign on the corner of Marshall and Prentice Streets was in a bad spot and could create a road hazard. An officer responded and said the sign did not appear to be a hazard.

11:07 p.m.: A caller reported that her son struck a deer on Prentice Street but was not injured. When officers checked the scene the boy and the deer were gone.

11:49 p.m.: A caller form Kathryn Lane reported a suspicious male hanging around his vehicles. Officers gave the person a ride to his home.

Saturday, July 21

12:24 p.m.: Officers assisted the Medway Police Department with a house party on Fox Run Road. Later in the night officers found three teenagers with dark clothes and backpacks walking in the area and gave them a ride to Milford. The teens said they had been at that party and were trying to get back to Worcester.

7:07 a.m.: Officers served a restraining order on Jerrold Street.

11:36 a.m.: An officer moved a dead fox out of the roadway on Marshall Street.

6:17 p.m.: A caller from the High School reported a suspicious male watching two females run around the track. When officers checked the area the man was gone.

7:58 p.m.: A caller from Washington Street reported that her boyfriend was banging on her windows and she requested assistance. Under police supervision the boyfriend removed items from the house.

10:54 p.m.: Officers stopped a vehicle for speeding on Washington Street. They issued a citation for the speeding and removed a class D substance from the vehicle.

Sunday, July 22

2:26 a.m.: An officer reported a couple that appeared to be having an argument in their vehicle on Washington Street. The couple was returning to their Mendon residence. Mendon Police were advised to help keep the peace.

10:47 a.m.: A caller from High Street complained of a solicitor going door to door.

3:47 p.m.: A lifeguard at reported a raccoon in a trashcan. The animal was released in to the woods.

6:40 p.m.: Officers responded to multiple calls for a single car vs. stone wall crash on Concord Street. Junior Reis, 24, of 12 Kendall Crossing, Natick, was arrested. Reis faces charges of unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of property damage, illegally attaching license plates and operating an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle.

Monday, July 23, 2012

8:03 a.m.: Officers responded to vandalism at the . The window of the main office had been broken.

10:08 a.m.: Officers stopped a motor vehicle on Washington Street and destroyed drugs that the people in the vehicle had.

5:10 p.m.: A residential alarm was activated on Karen Circle. Officers responded and walked through the house with the homeowner and found it to be secure.

8:48 a.m.: A person from Hanlon Road returned home to discover a missing computer and a t.v. that someone had attempted to remove from the wall.
