Holliston Police Log: One Driver Stopped During Driving Ban

The following information was supplied by the Holliston Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Feb. 7

2:46 a.m.: Officers from the Holliston Police Department assisted the Hopkinton Police Department with an alarm at Hopkinton High School.

1:07 p.m.: A resident reported a restraining order violation. The violation occurred when one person called the other’s cell phone.

8:13 p.m.: A caller from Kathryn Lane reported loud music at a neighboring house. An officer responded and spoke to the resident about the complaint. The officer did not hear any unreasonable noise.

10:10 p.m.: A caller reported a vehicle weaving and crossing the double yellow line on Washington Street. An officer spoke to the driver who reported she was looking for something on the floor.

Friday, Feb. 8

3:12 a.m.: While checking Pinecrest Country Club, an officer observed that a maintenance gate had been left open.

9:17 a.m.: A caller from Fiske Street reported damage to two of the tires on their vehicle from vandalism.

12:20 p.m.: A caller from Norfolk Street reported that nails had been thrown in his driveway along with his father’s driveway.

1:56 p.m.: Officers responded to a single car crash on Adams Street. Property damage was reported.

6:38 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle that was in violation of the driving ban. The operator was driving to Milford Regional Hospital and was allowed to continue. A short time later an officer gave the person a ride to the hospital.

Saturday, Feb. 9

3:09 a.m.: The Holliston Highway Department assisted a plow driver at Dunkin Donuts.

8:14 a.m.: A male from Paul road was transported to the hospital after his father reported the son might have been under the influence of a drug.

8:09 p.m.: A caller requested police assistance when his car got stuck at T.D. Bank.

Sunday, Feb. 10

12:01 p.m.: The Highway Department responded to a report of a large rock in the roadway on Washington Street.

1:09 p.m.: An officer assisted a resident at Subway who was locked out of their vehicle.

7:09 p.m.: An alarm was activated at Adams Middle School while the Highway Department was removing snow.
