Holliston Police Log: Woman Assaulted With Motor Vehicle

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Thursday, Dec. 13

8:08 a.m.: Officers responded to a head-on collision on Washington Street at Paul Road. One person was transported to the hospital and one vehicle was towed.

11:57 a.m.: A caller reported that while waiting at a bus stop a male started a conversation with her on Turner Road.

3:12 p.m.: Officers responded to a security alarm at a residence on Brook Street. Officers spoke to a male resident who said he believed his wife just left the property.

5:38 p.m.: A caller reported that a male shined his flashlight at her car windshield while he was walking his dog. The caller spoke to the man and informed him that the light had impacted her ability to see.

7:21 p.m.: Two vehicles were involved in a crash on Church Street at Railroad Street. One vehicle was towed and an operator was given a citation for an intersection violation.

7:27 p.m.: A resident reported that his keys had been lost or stolen at the high school. The vehicle was left in the parking lot until tow arrangements could be made.

Friday, Dec. 14

6:03 p.m.: A caller reported that her purse had been stolen from her vehicle on Pinecrest Road.

6:25 p.m.: A caller from Holliston Gas reported that a person filled their gas tank up but there was a credit card error and the payment didn’t process. The driver was contacted and informed to return to the gas station.

7:45 p.m.: An officer spoke to a driver on Woodland Street who was operating without their lights on.

Saturday, Dec. 15

12:19 a.m.: Glen McDermott, 25, of 64 Fisher St., Medway was arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street. McDermott was charged with second offense drunken-driving and marked lanes violation.

3:23 a.m.: An officer and the K9 trained at Holliston Town Hall. The training included an evidence search.

2:33 p.m.: A resident reported a confrontation on the Rail Trail with another person regarding pets.

5:56 p.m.: Officers responded to a car vs. pedestrian crash on Washington Street near St. Mary’s Church. No one was treated for injuries.

8:35 p.m.: An officer from the Holliston Police Department spoke to people in a vehicle near Kampersal Field. They were sent on their way.

Sunday, Dec. 16

8:52 a.m.: William J. Tolan, 56, of 2 Second St., Framingham was arrested after his girlfriend told police he took her car and hit her with it. Tolan was charged with use of a motor vehicle without permission, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery on a person over the age of 60 / disabled.

9:55 a.m.: One vehicle crashed off the road on Central Street. A couple in the car had reportedly been involved in an argument when the crash occurred, but no charges were filed.

2:21 p.m.: A caller from Jasper Hill Road reported parking violations caused by the nearby funeral.

6:04 p.m.: Robert P. Bubello, 45, of 46 Mohawk Path was arrested at his home after a caller reported a domestic incident. Bubello was charged with assault and battery.

7:32 p.m.: David G. Cox, 51, of 50 Morgans Way was arrested after police responded to a 911 hang up. Cox was charged with assault and battery.
