Holliston Police: Thousands of Dollars in Furniture Stolen From Storage Unit

The following information was provided by the Holliston Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, July 18

9:32 a.m.: A resident reported difficulty seeing around the corner at Pinecrest Road and Prentice Street due to overgrown vegetation.

11:54 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle that failed to stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk downtown. The driver was given a verbal warning.

3:50 p.m.: An employee of New England Household Moving reported that several thousand dollars worth of furniture had been stolen from a furniture unit.

10:41 p.m.: An officer removed several people from the Holliston High School grounds.

Friday, July 19

10:55 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle for speeding on Washington Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge the driver with speeding and unlicensed operation.

6:23 p.m.: Officers responded to a car crash at the intersection of Washington Street where the driver had left the scene. The vehicle was found nearby on Oak Street. One man was taken into protective and police are seeking a summons to charge him with leaving the scene of property damage.

Saturday, July 20

1:03 p.m.: An officer assisted a person who had fallen off their bicycle near CVS.

6:33 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Summer Street. Police are seeking a summons for the driver.

Sunday, July 21

4:55 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Washington Street. Police arrested Manuel Cruz Guaman-Lema, 37, of 640 Main St., Haverhill on charges of unlicensed operation, failure to display owner’s name, equipment violation and a flares violation by a commercial vehicle.

Monday, July 22

9:45 p.m.: A driver was transported to the station after she hit a deer on Concord Street. The vehicle involved was towed.

10:16 p.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Concord Street. Police are seeking a summons for the driver.

Tuesday, July 23

10:54 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on Woodland Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge the driver with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

4:42 p.m.: A caller reported a white pit bull in the road near the intersection of Summer Street and Washington Street. Animal Control issued a citation to the owner of the dog.
