Holliston Police Warn of Spike in Car and Home Break-Ins
Police are urging residents to be vigilant.
Police are urging residents to be observant for suspicious activity following a number of break-ins in the past month.
"Our department has responded to 22 suspicious activity calls, 13 suspicious motor vehicle calls, 1 breaking & entering into a motor vehicle call, and 2 residential break-in calls in the past month," said Holliston Police on their Facebook page. "Surrounding cities & towns have also seen a spike in suspicious activity and break-ins as well."
Police urged residents to call with any suspicious activity. The other day, according to police, on observant resident called police about a suspicious car, breaking up a residential break-in.
"We are urging our residents and visitors to the community to call the police department if they observe anything suspicious," said police. "A vehicle that seems out of the ordinary, a person lurking in the area, or activity which may not seem 'normal' may help to interrupt a crime."
