Hopkinton Man Allegedly Pulls Knife on Mother, Brother

Monday, July 15
12:07 a.m.: An officer checked a vehicle pulled to the side of East Main Street. A passenger in the vehicle was not feeling well.
12:35 a.m.: An officer spoke with a resident of Oakhurst Road who was lighting off fireworks.

1:32 p.m.: A caller from Ash Street reported a suspicious blonde woman with a large backpack in her yard. Officers located the female nearby learned she was a registered solicitor.
4:19 p.m.: A caller reported three dogs that were left in a van on Robbern Road.

8:07 p.m.: Officers assisted the fire department with a fire on Erika Drive.
8:32 p.m.: An officer responded to an argument between a father and son on Hayden Rowe Street. Joseph Gustino-Neri, 31, of 116 Hayden Rowe St., was arrested and charged with larceny over $250.
8:42 p.m.: An employee of EMC went to the police station to report that has wallet had been stolen at work and his credit cards were being used immediately.
Tuesday, July 16
9:55 a.m.: A caller from Blueberry Lane reported vandalism to their mailbox. While in the neighborhood an officer noted that another mailbox had also been vandalized.
11:37 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of a suspicious man sitting in his car near the daycare on South Street. The man said he was making a few phone calls in the shade while on his lunch break. The officer asked the man to move to a different area.
1:23 p.m.: A commercial truck went off the road on Cedar Street and hit the guardrail. A heavy-duty tow was called for the truck.
5:08 p.m.: A caller reported that her car had been keyed on Wilson Street.
7:01 p.m.: A 911 caller reported that his brother had pulled a knife on him and his mother. Matthew James Westbury, 18, of 16 Hayden Rowe St. was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
