Hopkinton Police: Intruders Reported on Teresa Road

The following information was supplied by the Hopkinton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Aug. 1

11:24 a.m.: An officer spoke with a motor vehicle operator who left their dog in the car on West Main Street with the windows up.

2:14 p.m.: An officer took a report of missing inventory from a business on South Street.

3:32 p.m.: A caller reported that there was a dog at her front door that would not leave. The caller was from Hopkinton N.H. and she was given their contact information.

3:52 p.m.: A caller from Teresa Road reported that there were intruders in her home. Officers responded and found the people running toward Hayden Rowe Street. All parties involved were spoken to and released except Matthew McDonald, 17, of 5 Keeby Rd. who was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and possession of a class C substance.

Friday, Aug. 2

1:39 a.m.: An officer removed two people from the K lot at Hopkinton High School.

9:52 p.m.: An officer spoke with people fishing near Pond Street.

Saturday. Aug. 3

12:39 a.m.: An officer checked two people on Wood Street with bandanas over their faces. They were transported back to Bull Moose Run.

1:37 a.m.: An officer stopped a vehicle on West Main Street and arrested Dennis J. Aleff, 45, of 46 Main St., Apt. 1, Upton. Aleff was charged with second offense drunken-driving and operating with a suspended license.

9:08 a.m.: A 1-800-Got-Junk truck struck a telephone pole on Main Street.

Sunday, Aug. 4

10:51 a.m.: An officer took a report of a vandalized mailbox.

6:52 p.m.: A caller from Lakeshore Drive reported young girls driving a golf cart in the road while talking on their cell phones. An officer checked the area but did not find the girls or any golf carts.

Monday, Aug. 5

8:30 a.m.: A caller reported a vehicle operating erratically on West Main Street. An officer stopped the vehicle on Route 495 and issued a verbal warning for lanes violation and distracted driving.

9:30 a.m.: A detail officer requested a cruiser to the jobsite on Main Street to take a report of a hit and run.

11:43 a.m.: An employee of a business on Main Street reported that her cell phone was stolen. The employee said there was video surveillance of the theft.

4:57 p.m.: Officers responded to a car crash on Route 495.

8:18 p.m.: A caller reported that a vehicle parked on the side of Norcross Road and an occupant got out to retrieve a bag from the woods.

Tuesday, Aug. 6

4:13 a.m.: A caller from North Mill Street reported that they woke up and the interior light of their vehicle was turned on.

10:11 a.m.: An officer took a report of a theft from a business on Main Street.

10:20 a.m.: A caller reported that she was bit by a dog while running on Wood Street.

1:57 p.m.: A caller from a business on South Street reported that three laptops had been taken.

6:58 p.m.: Two vehicles were towed after a crash on Hayden Rowe Street. No injuries were reported.
