Hopkinton Police Log: Crash on 495, Illegal Dumping
The following information was supplied by the Hopkinton police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
Wednesday, July 11
10:52 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a car crash on East Main Street. When the officers got there they observed that the crash was minor, no one was injured and the cars were off the road.
3:03 p.m.: Officers from the responded to West Main Street where they looked for a vehicle that had been involved in a hit and run on route 495. The search turned up negative.

11:31 p.m.: A caller from Church Street reported a noise in his back yard; he suspected that someone was in his shed. An officer responded and spoke to two people who were out for a walk.

12:35 a.m.: A motorist reported a person in the woods with a flashlight.
12:53 p.m.: A caller from Fruit Street reported illegal dumping. An officer responded and was investigating the incident.
5:13 p.m.: A caller from Hayward Street reported the odor of natural gas in their basement. The responded.
8:46 p.m.: A caller from Spring Street reported that someone had been hacking his email account. An officer took a report.
9:40 p.m.: A caller reported that there was a disabled vehicle on the 495 off ramp. The Upton Police Department responded and reported that it was an accident and one of the drivers was complaining of neck pain. A Hopkinton officer responded along with an ambulance.
