Hopkinton Police Log: Locked in Bathroom, Aggressive Driver

The following information was provided by the Police Department. Charges do not indicate a conviction. All arrests are reported.

Wednesday, Aug. 22

3:40 a.m.: A caller said they were locked inside the bathroom. After checking with the Fire Department it was determined that the male was not in that building but was in 77 Main Street. Officers assisted the fire department in obtaining keys and placed the man in to protective custody until the property owner was contacted.

11:18 a.m.: A detail officer called, concerned that a work crew on Grove Street was working without a detail officer.

11:26 a.m.: The Framingham District Court faxed a warrant to the for apprehension of a female who was believed to be living in town. It was determined that she was at the hospital with her boyfriend and was arrested there by the Framingham Police Department.

11:43 a.m.: A person reported that a dog belonging to the owner of had been hit in the business’ parking lot. The owner took the dog to the vet.

4:30 p.m.: A 911 caller reported an accident on Wood Street with two people who said they were in pain. When an officer responded with an ambulance the two people refused treatment.

5:06 p.m.: The Southborough Police Department reported an armed robbery, Hopkinton police responded to assist.

5:06 p.m.: Several callers reported a crash on West Main Street. No injuries were reported but two vehicles were towed.

6:09 p.m.: An employee reported a woman walking her dogs on the property. Officers responded but did not find the woman who had been warned not to walk her dogs there.

6:45 p.m.: A caller from Peppercorn Road reported a suspicious vehicle at a house in the neighborhood that may have been unoccupied. Officers responded and found the house secure.

10:15 p.m.: A 911 caller reported that he was run off the road on West Main Street and his vehicle had minor damage. An officer responded but could not find the suspect vehicle.

Thursday, Aug. 23

5:05 a.m.: A caller reported some sort of heavy machinery being used on Holt Street. An officer checked the area but it was quiet.

12:10 p.m.: A person reported that they hit a rock in the road by Legacy Farms. No major damage was reported.

3:37 p.m.: A caller complained that she was cut off twice by a state vehicle and then pulled over and spoke to rudely. An officer contacted the agency.

8:39 p.m.: A caller reported construction work on School Street. When an officer responded the area was quiet.

9:11 p.m.: A caller reported loud barking dogs on School Street. An officer checked the area but did not find any dogs.

9:27 p.m.: A person went in to the station to report that her husky had run away.

11:51 p.m.: A caller from Greenwood Road reported that her neighbors were being loud and playing basketball. An officer responded and spoke to the homeowner who said he would shut off the music and stop the basketball.
