Hopkinton Police: Truck Blocks Saddle Hill, Party on Fruit Street

Wednesday, Aug. 7

12:06 a.m.: A caller from Clinton Street reported people in the bird sanctuary. An officer responded and spoke with several people who were in the woods running around.

4:27 p.m.: An officer took a report of a hit and run crash on Cedar Street.

8:59 p.m.: An officer reported a large tree and several utility poles down on Fruit Street. The DPW and NStar were notified.

Thursday, Aug. 8

12:46 a.m.: An officer spoke to two people who were in a car parked on Hayden Rowe Street.

9:27 a.m.: An officer assisted with traffic control after a truck got stuck on Saddle Hill Road. The street was closed until the truck was towed.

11:46 a.m.: An officer took a report of theft from West Main Street.

8:44 a.m.: A person reported that an area of the Fruit Street property owned by the town appeared to have been the scene of a party recently.
