Hopkinton Teen Arrested After Break-In on Pleasant Street
Police searched for an hour after a caller reported the incident at 11:30 Tuesday night.
Drew Newton, 18, of 15 Cedar St., was arrested last night and charged with nighttime breaking and entering and larceny over $250 after police responded to a break-in on Pleasant Street.
According to initial police reports the incident was reported at 11:30 p.m. and the search for the suspect included help from the Holliston Police Department K9 unit, the Southborough Police Department and the Ashland Police Department.
Newton was caught in Ashland and brought to the residence where he was identified by a witness and arrested by the Hopkinton Police Department.
