Larceny at Holliston High, People Removed from Lake Winthrop Parks

The following information was provided by the Holliston Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, July 10

6:33 a.m.: Officers responded to a one-car crash on Norfolk Street. No injuries were reported but the vehicle was towed.

1:09 p.m.: An officer investigated a larceny at the Holliston High School.

9:41 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious minivan that was parked on Clark Drive for two and a half hours. The vehicle belonged to people who were at the beach. This vehicle and several others were removed from the area by their owners.

Thursday, July 11

1:19 a.m.: An officer checked the Lowland Street industrial park for reported car racing.

6:38 a.m.: An officer spoke with residents of Mechanic Street after an abandoned 911 call. The caller was having an argument with her son but no further police involvement was necessary.

5:10 p.m.: A caller reported a hit and run crash that occurred at the Holliston Public Library earlier in the day.

Friday, July 12

12:55 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of wires down on Brook Street. One lane of travel was shut down while the wires were repaired.

9:31 p.m.: A bicyclist called to report a suspicious truck parked in the woods near Hopping Brook Road.

Saturday, July 13

10:32 a.m.: An officer responded to a two-car crash on Concord Street. Police are seeking a summons to charge one of the drivers with unlicensed operation.

11:02 p.m.: An officer checked the Holliston High School parking lot and took note of five unoccupied motor vehicles.

11:10 p.m.: An officer removed two people from Pleasure Point.

Sunday, July 14

12:18 a.m.: Officer assisted the Ashland Police Department with a search for a woman in the woods near Chestnut Street (Highland Street in Holliston). The woman was found safely.

8:19 a.m.: An officer conducting traffic enforcement downtown noted several jaywalkers but no vehicle crosswalk violations.

1:07 p.m.: A person reported what they believed to be an assault that occurred in a van on Washington Street. The van was gone when officers arrived.

9:44 p.m.: While checking Pleasure Point an officer found two vehicles with boat trailers attached.

Monday, July 15

9:55 a.m.: A resident contacted the Holliston Police Department after purchasing items from a fraudulent website.
