No Injuries in Holliston Fire on North Mill Street

Everyone was evacuated from the 1:26 a.m. fire after a passerby reported the fire.

The following press release was received from the Holliston Fire Department. 

On Thursday, November 21, the Holliston Fire Department responded to at 1:26 AM report of a house fire on North Mill Street. 

The fire had been reported by an individual driving by the property.  All occupants of the multi-family dwelling were safely evacuated by the Holliston Police Department. 

A fire on the exterior of the building was quickly extinguished, and the fire was contained prior to extending to the interior of the structure.  The incident was declared under control at 1:49 AM.

The fire department responded with a full first alarm assignment, which included 1 ladder truck, 4 engines, 1 rescue, and the ambulance.  

NStar Electric was notified and responded, and they confirmed there was no impact on the electrical services in the utility room.  The residents were allowed to re-occupy their individual units, and the last of the public safety responders cleared the scene at 2:15 AM.  There were no injuries.
