Police Log: Copper Stolen

Tuesday, Sept. 13 

3:14 a.m. : An officer followed up on earlier and ongoing noise complaints from the Lowland St. area. 

9:44 a.m. : NStar was notified of a tree limb down on wires on Heritage Way.

2:48 p.m.: Police investigated a reported hit-and-run crash at the corner of Washington and Central streets. 

2:25 p.m.:  An officer spoke to a group of kids who a caller said were smoking on Greenview Dr. near .

7:07 p.m.: A caller asked for assistance for a crow that had been struck by a car on Central St.  

11:24 p.m.: A report of an erratic driver in the area of Summer St. and Washington St. was passed on to Milford police after Holliston officers were unable to locate.  

Wednesday, Sept. 14 

12:00 a.m.:  An officer assisted an Everett Rd. resident who had been locked out of his car.  

8:54 a.m.: Police assisted wit the exchange of information following a minor two-car crash reported at the . 

8:57 a.m.: A manhole cover at the corner of Central and Norfolk streets--which had proven a hazard in the past--was again found to be sticking up in the roadway. The Highway Department was made aware of the situation. 

11:01 a.m.: After a parking complaint, an unregistered vehicle found to be blocking a driveway on Lowland St. and Jeffrey Ave. was ordered towed away by .  

12:09 p.m.: A walk-in reported a larceny in the form of the theft of copper.  

4:18 p.m.: One person was taken to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham after an ambulance call to Locust st. 

6:01 p.m.: An officer spoke to youths who were skateboarding on Hollis St.
