Police Log: Hypodermic Needle, Warrant Arrest

Thursday, April 26
7:39 a.m.: issued a summons to a driver on Washington Street for driving without a license and an inspection violation.
10:19 a.m.: An officer responded to a report of a disabled vehicle on the side of the road. Police arrested the driver, who had an active warrant for his arrest from Westborough District Court.

David Laber, 41, from 49 Homer Ave. in Ashland was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
12:48 p.m.: A Marshall Street resident reported a suspicious vehicle in his driveway. The vehicle's operator identified himself as a private investigator for East Coast Investigations. Officers advised him to inform police when working in town.

4:51 p.m.: A resident turned in a hypodermic needle found on the side Central Street.
