Police Log: Young Driver Crashes, Puppy Follows Pedestrian

The following information was supplied by the Holliston police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

10:30 a.m.: A Washington Street resident reported two artificial plants were taken from the front porch of the caller's home on Feb. 7 or 8, each worth $25. 

10:51 a.m.: Police received a call from a pedestrian on Fiske Street saying a Doberman puppy was following him. Police alerted Animal Control.  

9:32 p.m.: Police issued a citation to a driver with a Junior Operator License for failure to stop at a stop sign after a crash on Washington Street. The driver's parents were notified, and picked up the child.
