Police News: Gasoline Smell Worries Caller

Also, Officer O'Neil finds dead deer and car parts on West Main Street.

June 20, 9:52 a.m.

Ashland Police requested a cruiser for Clinton Street to help them create a perimeter around a Breaking and Entering that just occurred. Officer Shane responded to Clinton Street.

2:19 p.m. - Caller on South Barn Road said her mailbox was damaged between noon and now. Officer Powers said it appeared someone backed into the mailbox and may not have known.

2:29 - Officers Shane and Powers responded to a crash just over the line from East Main Street on Ashland's West Union Street. Officer Powers assisted Medflight. which landed at the Congregational Church in Hopkinton.

3:14 p.m. - A Walker Street caller said her neighbor was doing something in the garage and the neighborhood smelled of gasoline. Officer O'Neil spoke to the person responsible.

10:23 - Officer O'Neil reported removing a dead deer and some car parts from West Main Street.
