Scared Security Guard at Legacy Farms, Stolen Saddle in Hopkinton

Monday, July 8

6:12 a.m.: A caller reported a vehicle abandoned by former tenants of a house on Meserve Street. An officer spoke with the tenants who said the vehicle would be removed by mid-week.

4:17 p.m.: An employee from a Main Street business reported missing prescription medicine.

10:10 a.m.: A security guard barricaded herself in a trailer at Legacy Farms after hearing a noise while on foot patrol. Officers checked the area but didn’t notice anything suspicious.

12:31 a.m.: An officer spoke to a couple on Downey Street after a caller reported the arguing.

Wednesday, July 10

2:51 p.m.: A caller from Proctor Street reported that a horse saddle had been stolen from her property.

6:27 p.m.: A caller reported that a tractor-trailer had taken down wires on Hayden Rowe Street. Utility companies were notified.

6:15 p.m.: A caller from Walcott Valley reported that his backpack had been stolen from a work vehicle while he was working earlier.

8:57 a.m.: Officers assisted the Hopkinton Fire Department with a fire alarm on John Matthew Street.

9:21 p.m.: Officers responded to an argument on Ash Street. Everyone involved was notified of their domestic rights.

Thursday, July 11

8:33 a.m.: An Environmental Protection Officer requested that a trailer be towed from Hopkinton State Park. The owner was unable to be contacted and the trailer was removed.

9:02 a.m.: A caller reported an erratic operator on Route 495 that almost caused a crash while exiting on to West Main Street. Officers spoke with the driver of the erratic vehicle.

7:41 p.m.: A caller from Susan Drive reported a pit bull with a broken leash attached. Animal Control responded.

7:52 p.m.: An officer spoke with unregistered solicitors on Wild Road.

10:19 p.m.: A caller reported that a passenger in a vehicle on Erika Drive got out and took something from a vehicle in a driveway. Officers were unable to find the suspicious vehicle.
