UPDATE: Snapped Utility Pole Snags Traffic in Hopkinton
A single-car accident has closed traffic on a section of Main Street.
Update:
As of 9:45 a.m., Main Street was closed down from Pleasant to Grove Street as emergency personnel wait for utility crews to clear the scene.
Original Story:
A snapped utility pole has shut down traffic in both directions in the area of 87 Main Street in Hopkinton.
According to scanner reports, a single-car hit and run accident caused a utility pole to snap and stop traffic across Main Street shortly before 9:30 Saturday morning.
