Strange Noises in the House, Strange Men, and More

Here's a look at the recent police logs for Holliston and Hopkinton.

The following information was provided by the Holliston and Hopkinton Police Departments. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Here's a look at the Holliston and Hopkinton police logs for Nov. 5 and Nov. 6. 

HOPKINTON
Tuesday, Nov. 5

7:10 a.m., Cedar Street. Several reports of a tree down and blocking the road. Tree was removed.

9:09 a.m., North Mill Street. Patrolman noticed a vandalized mailbox. No others in the area appeared to be damaged.

9:40 a.m., Patriots Boulevard. Walk-in report of a parking complaint. Police spoke with the party. 

12:48 p.m., Pond Street. Caller reported a landscaper in the road blowing leaves. He would not get out of the way for the vehicle to pass, and started swearing at the vehicle. Police spoke with the landscaper. 

5:13 p.m., Susan Drive. E911 caller said someone tried to open the front door. Police said it was a WGBH solicitor. 

8:11 p.m., Cedar Street Extension. A Southboro resident called about ongoing issues with a Hopkinton resident's barking dogs. Animal Control was notified.

9:22 p.m., Pinecrest. Caller reported people being loud on a nearby deck. All quiet when police arrived. 

Wednesday, Nov. 6

7:16 a.m., West Main Street. Caller reported a box of tools has spilled into the intersection. Gone on arrival.

7:53 a.m., Forest Lane. Caller reported a suspicious item that was left in her door. Police contacted the person on the card to make sure it was legitimate.

10:09 a.m., Hayden Rowe Street. Caller reported a man sitting in a car in their parking lot. Police had an encounter with him earlier in the day as he turned in a wallet to the school. Man told police he wanted to get supplies. Employees are now reporting they are concerned for this man as he stated he is from Easton and his mother is concerned for him due to not taking his medication. The man chose to leave the area. 

12:30 p.m., Smith Road. E911 caller reported suspicious activity after she heard a door shut on the second floor of her house. She did not see anything that looked like a break-in. Police checked the house and found no one inside. A red vehicle was seen leaving the area; it was registered out of Framingham. Ashland, Holliston and Framingham police were asked to stop the vehicle if they saw it. 

HOLLISTON
Tuesday, Nov. 5

7:13 a.m., Tracy Lynn Road. E911 caller requested help. 

10:08 a.m., Washington Street. Disabled vehicle.

1:55 p.m., Central and Norfolk Streets. Caller reported an animal incident in the area. 

6 p.m., Adams Street. Cell caller reported an animal incident in the area. 

6:28 p.m., Summer Street. K-9 training.

6:46 p.m., station. Walk-in report of an animal incident.

Wednesday, Nov. 6

6:25 a.m., Concord Street and Old Cart Path. Animal incident.

11:13 a.m., Stonybrook Drive. Caller reported annoying or harassing phone calls. 

1:24 p.m., Westfield Drive and Dixon Circle. Traffic complaint.

2:11 p.m., Hollis Street. Traffic complaint.

2:41 p.m., Goulding Street. Caller reported annoying or harassing phone calls. 

2:53 p.m., Pleasant Street. Walk-in report of a family problem. 

5:36 p.m., Lowland Street. Animal incident.

6:40 p.m., Highland Street. K-9 training in Lake Grove Cemetery. 

9:27 p.m., Woodland Street. Cell caller reported an erratic driver in the area.
