Two Hopkinton Teens Arrested After Break-In

A caller from Meadowland Drive tipped police off to suspicious individuals in the area.

According to a release from the Hopkinton Police Department, a caller from Meadowland Drive reported two suspicious people just after 12 p.m. today.

and shortly thereafter police learned that an adjacent house had been broken in to.

"The female suspect was quickly apprehended at the scene," the release said. "A State Police K9 was requested and tracked the male suspect through the woods for approximately 35 minutes."

Ultimately the male was caught with the assistance of the Westborough, Upton and Massachusetts State Police departments.

Michael Somadelis, 19, of Hopkinton was charged with felony breaking and entering during the daytime, larceny of a building, larceny over $250, possession of burglarious tools and receiving stolen property over $250.

Christine Manjorides, 19, of Hopkinton was charged with felony breaking and entering during the daytime, larceny of a building, larceny over $250, receiving stolen property over $250 and possession of a Class E substance.
