UPDATE: Homeowners Described as Kind, Helpful

Neighbors say the couple who lived at 141 Hayward St., which is being investigated as a crime scene, were always willing to lend a hand.

This morning shortly before 9, officers responded to the report of two people unresponsive and unconscious at 141 Hayward St.

According to a press release from the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, the two people who died suffered gunshot wounds.

Although the DA has not released the names of the two, neighbors and the Hopkinton assessor's property records say the home belongs to Todd Vogel, who recently married his wife, Lori Levangie. Vogel is listed as a journeyman electrician with the state.

Neighbors say Todd was the kind of guy that always had his door open and was always willing to give you a hand.

“There was no indication of anything,” Steve Votolato said. “He was a happy go lucky guy. If you ever needed a hand he would help you out.”
