Holliston Democrats Elect Delegates for State Convention

Holliston Democrats elected eight delegates during a caucus Saturday to represent the town at the Democratic Party's state convention in June. 

A record 40 people attended the caucus, hosted by the Holliston Democratic Town Committee

Elected delegates include Judy Gagnon, Lisa Kaplan, Elaine Doyle, Ginny Keniry, Allen Rutberg, Mark Signore, Lee DeSorgher and Joe Harary. 

The delegates will select a Democrat candidate to compete for Scott Brown's senate seat at the convention on Jun. 2.

“In Holliston and across the Commonwealth, Democrats are energized and organized to beat Scott Brown and make sure President Barack Obama is elected to a second term,” Massachusetts Democratic Party Chairman John Walsh said in a press release.
