Massachusetts Gaming Commission Responds to Hopkinton Lawsuit
The commission being sued by the town has responded to the lawsuit.
Officials from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission have said that their position has already been upheld once and they will present their position in court.
“The Town previously appealed the issues involved in the suit to the Supervisor of Public records who, after a careful examination, issued a written opinion completely upholding the Commission’s position," said the commission in a released statement. "The Commission looks forward to presenting that position to the court and, in deference to the judicial process, will have no further comment on the suit until the court rules.”
Hopkinton has sued the commission in their ongoing effort to gain information about the gaming license application for the Foxwoods Casino in Milford.
