School Technology Plan to Get Fiscal Review

The Finance Committee will review the capital plan put forward by the School Committee, which includes the technology needed to create a 1-to-1 computer to student ratio at Holliston High.

The Finance Committee will review the capital budget request of the School Committee Tuesday night as the plan that would make it possible for every student at Holliston High School to have a connected computing device moves toward a Town Meeting vote. 

The Finance Committee will review the , which includes funds for teacher computers, a laptop library and the servers needed to make HHS wireless-enabled. 

In addition to the schools, the FinCom will review town meeting expenditures proposed by the .

It is also expected to give final approval to the request for proposals to conduct a , a compromise measure that arose out of Town Meeting in May after resident Bill Dowd proposed articles that would in the benefits area. 

The Finance Committee meets at 7:30 in Room 105 at Town Hall.
