Reynolds was raised in North Attleboro where she returned to teach after completing her Bachelor's in Health Education at UMASS Amherst.

The Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus Political Action Committee announced its endorsement of Sara-Lynn Reynolds for State Senator of the Norfolk, Bristol Middlesex District.

Reynolds is seeking the Democratic nomination in the primary election, which is held on Tuesday, Sept. 9.

“We are thrilled to endorse Sara-Lynn Reynolds for State Senate,” says MWPC Board President Patricia Lynch. “She is a committed community member who has fearlessly led the charge on issues she is passionate about from her career as a teacher in North Attleboro to her position as Attleboro City Councilor at Large. We are proud to support her campaign.”

“It is an honor to be endorsed by the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus,” says Reynolds. “As a teacher, an advocate and a City Councilor, I’ve had the privilege to respond to issues that matter to the people of this district and take action. As I run for State Senate to continue my work as a voice for the community, it is encouraging to know I have the support of MWPC.”

Reynolds was raised in North Attleboro where she returned to teach after completing her Bachelor’s in Health Education at UMASS Amherst. As a teacher, she advocated for establishing policies and funding for sports for young women at the junior high and high school levels. She also served as a spokesperson and a regional field director for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, advocating for stricter Tobacco regulations to support better control of under-age use and exposure to second hand smoke. As a Councilor at Large for Attleboro, she took on the position of Chairperson of the Personnel and Human Services Committee and led the way in re-establishing the Personnel Board for Attleboro. She also held leadership roles in the Committee on Licenses and the Finance Committee.
